Meet your Fitness Instructors

Britney Bresciani

Certifications:  200hr Yoga Teacher Training from Sadhana Yoga School - completed in Bali. Where are you from?  Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, and moved to Kelowna after living in Vancouver for several years and Sydney, Australia prior to that.
What are your hobbies?  Yoga, all things fitness, travel, snowboarding, volleyball and hiking.
What inspired you to get into fitness and teaching?  I've spent my entire life surrounded with health and fitness; from a young age I've always been training to compete in one sport or another and as I grew up, I've always been the "go to" for health and fitness advice.
What's your favourite thing about being an instructor?  I love seeing the mood and energy of people shift throughout the class; the smiles and gratitude at the end are the best.
What words of wisdom would you give your clients about health and fitness?  Everybody has to start somewhere; even the experts were once beginners. Measure your success and triumphs on your own goals and don't compare your progress to anyone else's.


Kiarra Watson

Certifications/Classes:  Human Kinetics Degree from UBCO, CFES Personal Training, BCRPA Fitness Instructor, Spin, and TRX Instructor, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training from SHIFT Power Yoga
Where are you from?  Kamloops, B.C.
What are your hobbies?  Hiking, motorcycle riding, skiing
What inspired you to get into fitness and teaching?  It was suggested to me by a supervisor when I was 16, and my passion grew from there!
What’s your favorite thing about being an instructor?  Staying active, motivating others, and yelling a lot.
What words of wisdom would you give your clients about health and fitness?  Don’t be afraid of setbacks - they happen, and they happen to everyone. Brush it off and take is as just that - a setback. Tomorrow is another day.


Amber Archibald

Where are you from?  Kelowna
What are your hobbies?  Vegan cooking, reading, health research
What inspired you to get into fitness and teaching?  A complete love of health and fitness, mindful fitness as therapy, A love of teaching for people
What’s your favorite thing about being an instructor?  Seeing the transformations in my students, watching them progress and reach new levels, inspires me.
What words of wisdom would you give your clients about health and fitness?  Pick a program you love and stay with it. Continue to develop your understanding of what your program is designed to do and trust the process. Have fun and make yourself a priority. ♥


Jennifer Shinkewski

Where are you from?  I grew up in Penticton, B.C.
What are your hobbies?  Cooking, hiking, snowboarding, outdoor water sports
What inspired you to get into fitness and teaching?  I was inspired by going to classes. I knew that I wanted to teach and motivate people. It’s fun being able to share a workout I am passionate about.
What’s your favorite thing about being an instructor?  It feels so good to be a part of such a positive component of peoples days.
What words of wisdom would you give your clients about health and fitness?  Be strong, not skinny. And always have fun.


Michelle Meilicke

Where are you from?  Originally the Kootneys. I just moved back to BC from Alberta
What are your hobbies?  I am a lover of all things yoga ☺
What inspired you to get into fitness and teaching?  It just kind of happened many years ago. My desire to help others in reaching their wellness goals runs deep.
What’s your favorite thing about being an instructor?  Sharing the “yoga vibe”, encouraging, supporting, and empowering others on their yoga journey.
What words of wisdom would you give your clients about health and fitness?  Breathe - if you’re allowing your breath to move you, you're doing yoga.
