We’re all looking to improve our health; we go to the gym, we try and eat healthy and maintain a balanced lifestyle. But there are some days when the thought of a normal cardio session is enough to keep you away from the gym. These are the days when you need to explore new options in your fitness regime. Cardio, although often a daunting and dreaded part of your exercise routine, can actually be something that you look forward to, if you’re able to find something that you enjoy doing. In the quest for a new and effective cardio burn, more and more people are attending spin classes to accomplish their cardio goals, and they’re having fun doing it!

These fun and enjoyable activities like running, jumping, swimming, kayaking, hiking, or whatever sport you partake in can take a serious toll on your body. The repetitive movements, muscle strain, and impact can often leave your muscles tight and sore. However, there's one miraculous activity you can add to your routine to assist your body not only in a speedy recovery, but also in preventing future injuries and soreness; Yoga! While yoga has a perception of just being a relaxing, slow paced form of exercise even the most in shape athletes can find huge health and performance benefits from practicing yoga on a regular basis.
